Keeping Curiosity Alive to Help You Thrive

Founder of little art & Creative Pause Club

Creative Life & Mindfulness Coach | Art Educator

Harriet Poole Life Coach, Founder of little art

Harriet is a playful change agent and curiosity catalyst for transformation.

It is her 20+ years of experience working with kids of all ages, that she also now brings to help adults unlearn, more freely self-express themselves, and recover their inner authentic self. To share the power in the Creative Pause, how to decompress easily everyday, and liberate JOY, reinvigorate, and discover wilder possibilities. Provide purpose-driven challenge to the-way-it-has-always-been, to help solve the complex problems currently being faced as humans.

Harriet creates experiences that nurture a curious and creative mindset, open up to playfulness and fire up imaginations with families, adults and corporate teams. She helps to make space for creativity sustainably, to live more courageously, compassionately and imperfectly. To truly connect through creative resilience, slowing down and noticing more, often what’s right in front of you but with fresh insight. Her latest project is the monthly membership the Creative Pause Club, making space playfully, to bring calm & create focus, fresh insights to our daily challenges.

Harriet works both in person and online, using her bespoke Creativity LABs approach to share and grow our cultural understanding of the world, improve mental well-being, inspire social emotional growth in building communities and boost productivity in the workplace. Harriet’s approach focuses participants on the present moment of connectedness to ourselves, curious hands exploring with a slow, open, beginner's mind, like observing the first day of snow.

Person-centred sensory processes, graphic art and everyday materials, to immerse in a state of flow are central to Harriet’s work, opening up to that which is possible, through disrupting conventions, embracing the ‘happy accident’ and making safe spaces for vulnerability. Her Creativity LABs inspire creativity to thrive in community and business settings, here in Berlin from Zalando, Hello Fresh, Lollapalooza Festival, Babbel and Berlinische Galerie, to YouTube Creator Summit, Google, ESMT Business School, We Work and The DO School. Harriet also has fun and playful online experiences with remote team events see more here.

Originally, Harriet is from London, and has been in Berlin since  April 2013. She keeps her practice holistic and energising, blending the transformative power of art and coaching to unleash the whole self. She is Accredited in Transformational Life, Mindfulness and Clean Coaching (ICF/Animas,) and is a Visual Arts and Design qualified teacher, working inspired by the sense of awe and wonder of primary aged kids at Berlin Bilingual School, and previously at Fröbel and Be Smart Kitas here in Berlin, and for many years as Director of Visual Arts and Design at The BRIT School, alongside her performative art practice. She also has a PG Certificate Innovation in Education, and is always finding new ways to Keep Creativity Alive.

Harriet has a BA in Fine Art, MA in Theatre, (Visual Language of Performance.) She has made numerous performative events in London, including at The Nunnery, Camden People’s Theatre, Duckie @ The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, and in Alte Saline, Hallein, Austria. She especially loves playing with flickering shadows, making up wonky stories, and noticing accidental art in the everyday. Precious family art journaling time is also high on her list of loves, to learn to walk in another’s shoes. Harriet is also parent to a playful and wonderful 12 year old, from whom she never stops dancing with and learning from. Together they enjoy slowly cycling through the beautiful and bonkers city of Berlin, and weekends out camping in the wild forest with her daughter and their big open eyes, ears, hearts and minds.

Harriet speaks English (Native) and German. Connect here on LinkedIn.
